Live in General Assistants required. We are looking for a live in couple who love working in the hotel industry and love the Lake District. The General Assistant role will include all aspects of the Bar, Restaurant, cooking breakfast and housekeeping. Days and hours will vary to meet the needs of the business.
The role will involve a flexible nature as the work will cover cleaning, housekeeping, waiting on, bar work, reception cover and kitchen. Shifts will vary and will include working most weekends and evenings. We are looking for a well presented couple who enjoy working in and supporting a team environment.
If you like the country, lakes and mountains, Gosforth is ideally located to meet your dream. We would consider a couple wishing to invoice weekly.

Our 17th Century Inn located in the stunning Western Lake District
Originally built in 1658 Gosforth Hall has been lovingly restored to offer a number of original features including sandstone walls and oak beams. The en-suite bedrooms in the main building are as luxurious as you will find in the Western Lake District. No expense has been spared in the refurbishment and these rooms including the large walk-in wet rooms. The Copley Suite takes up the whole south wing of the top floor and is ideal for special occasions, or romantic breaks.
Gosforth Hall Inn has a lounge, bar and restaurant, but if you prefer al fresco dining the beer garden is one of best in this area and gives you a Mediterranean feel in the Lake District.
