The Drewe Arms

On 16th March 2024 the Drewe Arms opened it's doors again but this time as as a Community Pub.  The pub had closed in 2022 until a group of locals came together to launch a fundraising campaign to re-open it.

The campaign turned out to be a huge success, raising over 550k in just six weeks. Under PubCo ownership it never fulfilled its true potential.  Now, as a community pub, we're going to make it the special place it deserves to be.

We put huge emphasis on quality.  The menu is short, but the food will always be fresh and delicious – sourcing food from local suppliers wherever possible, and always working with the seasons.

We love our beer and we won’t settle for anything than a selection of beer, lager and cider that is local, fresh and delicious.  As a freehouse we're regularly changing the line up so be sure to swing by regularly to see what's new and on tap.  You can always try before you buy!

We undertook a major refurb of the kitchen in 2024 and now serve a wide range of delicious food.

Accommodation is a major part of our offering.  We have four bunk rooms with a total of 13 beds.  These may be booked on a shared or personal basis.  We also offer Church Cottage a wonderful house with a super-king master bedroom and two single bunk beds.

The pub has become a hub for the community, hosting parties, gigs, and classes from pilates to performing arts.
