We look forward to welcoming you to the historic Castle Inn, a privately owned pub restaurant situated in the Tudor village of Chiddingstone, West Kent, right next door to the famous Chiddingstone Castle. Under new ownership since April 2019, The Castle Inn dates back to the early 15th century and we're delighted to be writing another chapter in its story. As a prime example of a traditional English village pub, we intend to keep it this way: serving locally-sourced, home-cooked food and a wide selection of local beers from the Larkins and Titsey breweries. We are located near to Hever Castle in the very village where Sir Thomas Bullen (the father of Anne Boleyn) bought property during the early 1500s, before the family's fall from grace after Anne was executed by Henry VIII.
