The Fat Fox Inn

The Fat Fox Inn is a country inn based in Watlington, a small market town, in Oxfordshire between Oxford and London, (19km & 64km respectly). We have a busy bar and dining room and we have 9 rooms to let. We hold a single AA rosette, we are listed in the Michelin Guide and Alastair Sawday's Special Places guide.

Food is both a passion and an important part of our offering. We cook locally sourced dishes using ingrediants in season. We believe in preparing simple, elegant food  British and European food at reasonable prices.

We are a 3 AA Star Inn, which is busy with tourists from the UK and abroad in our area sightseeing or walking one of the mainy National Trails that come through Watlngton. We are also busy with business poeple due to your locality to Oxford, London via the M40 motorway which is 3 km away and its transit links to both.

We are one of three pubs in Watlington and therefore are very much part of the community who use the Fat Fox Inn to have a drink and meet up with friends, which means that the bar is busy every day.
