Location: Isles of Scilly on the main island of St Mary’s, off the coast of Cornwall, UK.  Introduction: We are a small independent, family run Hotel with just 22 guest bedrooms, accommodating approximately 40 people at peak times. We have a small team of multi-skilled staff who all work together, but also individually dependent on the shift. We offer two meal services per day; breakfast and dinner. On a Wednesday, the restaurant does not open for evening meal. There is no lunch service within our Hotel. Being multi-skilled, our staff work in various departments in a split shift pattern to make up their roles to full time hours. The departments are Restaurant, Bar, Reception, and Housekeeping. We have a couple of dedicated full time housekeeping staff members who take on the majority of this particular section. We are looking for an enthusiastic, versatile, presentable, professional person to join our small, friendly team here at The Flying Fish!  Duties will include:  servicing our 8 ensuite hotel rooms, serving breakfast to hotel guests, lunch and evening bar/food service shifts in our pub/restaurant and our onsite events venue.  This job requires an element of flexibility as business needs change throughout the seasons. This is a LIVE-IN position offering very spacious accommodation (no pets) at £60pw.  Our nearest town is Ilminster (3 miles) and you will need to have your own transport.  Min 25 hours per week rising to 40 at peak times.  Will consider job share for a couple.   Hospitality or customer service experience is essential and training will be given and you MUST be legally allowed to work in the UK.
