Welcome to The Owl. We are situated in the remote rural village of Hawnby, in the North Yorkshire Moors.  As a Country Inn, The Owl is both the heart of the community and a destination pub-restaurant with rooms.  As such we cater to walkers, 'foodies' hunters and farmers.  The pub is the second venture for the Bantam Food and Wine team, whose first restaurant, six miles away in Helmsley, features in the Michelin Guide 2023. Our goal is to produce the best possible experience for our guests and offer a good work-life balance for our team.  We are looking for people to join us on this journey and for people that are keen to work with us. The roles would include a number of different duties dependent upon experience, such as daily cleaning, housekeeping and additional front of house roles as required.
