The Old Dungeon Ghyll – General Assistant We are looking for people to join the team of a small family run hotel in the Langdale Valley. The role will involve serving breakfasts, cleaning rooms, working on the reception and helping in the kitchen. You will be joining a friendly team of staff and living in one of the most beautiful parts of the Lake District. The hotel is a notorious spot for climbers and walkers who come from all over to experience the valley. Attached to the hotel is a pub which is a sanctuary for people after a day on the fells and host to a weekly music night. The perks of the job include: Eight-hour shifts Two consecutive days off a week Free accommodation and meals Experience in hotels is preferable but not essential. Receptionist skills are desirable. Following the success of our first business, the Michelin-listed Bantam in Helmsley, we now seek good people to work with who will open and develop a pub with rooms in the beautiful, remote North York Moors National Park. For our new business, the Owl in Hawnby, we are looking for enthusiastic individuals to work in the bar restaurant & housekeeping. Previous experience in hospitality is desirable. In addition to a salary of £22-26k , accommodation in the village is available. Other roles may also be available and we would welcome applications from couples with additional hospitality experience.
