Location: Isles of Scilly on the main island of St Mary’s, off the coast of Cornwall, UK.
Full Time, Seasonal
Start: Late March 2023 (Arrive: Wednesday 22nd March ) – Hotel opens Saturday 25th March
Finish Late October 2023 – Provisional Closing Date: Saturday 21st October.
Hours: 48 Hours Per Week
6 Days Per Week
One Day Off Per Week
Split Shifts
Wages: £12 per Hour, Paid Into Bank Account Monthly
Live-In: £40 Per Week (Deducted from Wages)
End Of Season Bonus: £40 per week (Paid at end of season, October), so essentially free board/lodgings
Provided: Accommodation, Breakfast & Dinner, Use of Laundry, Towels, Bedding
Duties:
This position offers great job versatility & an opportunity to work in various departments. The successful candidate must be a team player and be able to work both with colleagues and alone.
Restaurant: Waiting on tables, taking/serving food & drink orders, and serving guests at Breakfast & Dinner Service.
Housekeeping: Cleaning guest bedrooms for stays and changeovers (after breakfast shift 1 to 3 hours max).
Occasional Afternoon Reception Cover: Helping guests, checking-in guests, answering phone & taking messages.
One day Kitchen Porter relief for KP day off cover
